Real Talk: Electric Rideables & the Law is your must-attend session if you ride or plan to ride an e-bike, scooter, moped, or electric board. We'll break down exactly what’s legal (and what’s not), how to tell if your ride is street legal, and what could get you cited or even impounded. From age limits and helmet laws to bike lane access and licensing, this session clears up the confusion and gives you the knowledge to ride safely and legally. Whether you're a rider, a parent, or just trying to stay informed, this is critical info you won't want to miss.

Join us on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 6pm. If you choose to attend in-person, we will be at the San Mateo Police Department, or you can watch from the comfort of your home via Zoom.

Did you know that there are so many new rules affecting the use of E-bikes? Is it street legal, what's the age requirement, do you need a license, if it goes a certain speed then only a certain age can ride it. It can be quite confusing. So, we are looking to educate our community, both riders, and parents who purchase these "bikes" for their kids.

We will be hosting both an in-person and virtual option for this meeting.
