Two Arrested in Nebo Drug Bust
Two McDowell County residents have been charged following a drug investigation that led authorities to seize cocaine and drug paraphernalia at a Nebo residence.
Jennifer Angelina Alley, 36, of Marion, and Curtis Ramon Young, 44, of Nebo, were charged with felony Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance; felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver cocaine; and felony Maintaining a Vehicle, Dwelling or Place for a Controlled Substance. Both Alley and Young received secured bonds of $40,000.
On June 20, investigators with the McDowell County Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office/Marion Police Department SWAT Team, executed a drug search warrant at a residence in Nebo. During the search, detectives located approximately 13 grams of powder cocaine and 14.5 grams of crack cocaine.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The N.C. State Bureau of Investigation and Marion Police Department assisted MCSO with the investigation.
