Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in identifying the male suspect pictured below, who stabbed a victim on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 4 a.m. in the 200 block of Park Avenue. On surveillance video, the suspect stabbed the victim in his abdomen in the doorway of a residence. The victim was treated at University Hospital, and the suspect, a Black male, left walking northbound on North 7th Street. He wore a white T-shirt, black and white sneakers, and a satchel bag across his chest.
