Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in identifying the male suspect pictured below, who took luggage from a victim’s vehicle on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 6:09 p.m. on
Garibaldi Avenue, near McClellan Street. The suspect, captured on surveillance video, lifted tape that covered the victim’s damaged rear passenger window and took luggage from the back seat. He fled northbound on Garibaldi Avenue.
