Newark Department of Public Safety Provides Non-Emergency Numbers for Residents and Visitors During Temporary Phone Outage
***911 Emergency Lines Remain Operational***
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that although the Newark Police and Fire divisions’ 911 emergency lines remain fully operational, the non-emergency phone numbers have been affected by the temporary telephone outage affecting some City of Newark departments.
To report non-emergency incidents or matters to Newark Police, please dial: (862) 302-8917.
To report non-emergency incidents or matters to Newark Firefighters, please dial: (973) 733-6276.
An update will be provided when the phone system repairs are finalized.
