Los Angeles Man Caught Spray Painting His Monikers on Chino Hills Sidewalks is Arrested for Felony Vandalism

LOCATION: Peyton Avenue, between Chino Avenue and Beverly Glen Road, Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Brian Shim, 30-year-old resident of Los Angeles
VICTIM(S): City of Chino Hills
SUMMARY: On July 9, 2025, at about 8:21 a.m., Deputy A. Andrews was patrolling along Peyton Avenue when he observed Brian Shim, a 30-year-old resident of Los Angeles, spray painting his monikers on two different sidewalk locations between Chino Avenue and Beverly Glen Road, in the city of Chino Hills. Shim had a can of black spray paint in his hands when Andrews contacted him. He was detained before he could further vandalize additional property.
The city of Chino Hills was contacted and estimated the total damage to be $1,000. Shim was arrested for felony vandalism and booked into West Valley Detention Center.
