* Flash Flood Warning for... Davidson County in central North Carolina... Eastern Forsyth County in central North Carolina... Guilford County in central North Carolina... Western Randolph County in central North Carolina...

* Until 145 AM EDT.

* At 925 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Many creeks in northern Davidson County and the High Point and Greensboro areas are rapidly rising. Significant flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
