* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southern New Jersey, including the following counties, in central New Jersey, Monmouth. In southern New Jersey, Atlantic, Cape May and Ocean.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1156 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding will be exacerbated as it nearing the time of high tide. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Toms River, Atlantic City, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Ocean City, Cape May, Sandy Hook, Barnegat, Pleasantville, Red Bank, Somers Point and Ventnor City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
