This is a message from the Village of Mount Kisco. The annual Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department Parade will kick off at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, July 11th. The Village's entire downtown area will see delays and road closures from approximately 6:30 p.m. until at least 8:30 p.m. Please note the following road closures: Main Street from Northern Westchester Hospital, past Jeff Feigel Square, up to the Maple Avenue/Kisco Avenue intersection. South Mosure Avenue from Main Street to the Lexington Avenue/Leeto Drive intersection. Moore Avenue, Smith Avenue, Terrace Place, Gregory Avenue, East Hyatt Avenue, West Hyatt Avenue, Lenox Place, Lundy Lane, Dakin Avenue, Green Street, Carpenter Avenue at Main Street, and North Bedford Road at Main Street will all be closed to through traffic. There is no parking on Main Street, Green Street, South Mosure Ave, and parts of Lexington Ave during the parade. Please look for signs. The North and South Mosure lots will be accessible via West Main Street coming from the west only. All vehicles will be stopped at the intersection of West Main Street and Maple Avenue/Kisco Avenue. Only cars intending to park in either the North or South Mosure lots will be permitted to go through the intersection. All cars that park in either of the Mosure lots who wish to exit before 8:30 pm must do so via the south end of the South Mosure lot, taking Britton Lane to Stewart Place, or via North Mosure Avenue to Carpenter Avenue. All of the interior spaces in the Blackeby lot will be closed beginning 11:59 pm Thursday, July 10th. All of the perimeter spaces will be closed beginning 4:00 pm on Friday, July 11th. The lot is expected to be re-opened by start of business on Saturday, July 12th. Main Street and Shoppers Park visitors: keep in mind that during the parade - from approximately 6:30 pm until approximately 8:30 pm - the only way out of the Shoppers Park lot will be Main Street and North Bedford Road. Entry and exit times during the parade may encounter very significant delays. Visitors not wishing to risk these delays are encouraged to park in the South Mosure lot and walk to Main Street.
