INCIDENT: PC 21810 (a)- Possession of Brass Knuckles, CVC 2800.2-Felony Evading
LOCATION: 6400 Block of El Dorado Avenue, Town of Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Jeremiah James Polston, 24-year-old male resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Morongo Basin Station deputies were dispatched to a residence located on the 6400 block of El Dorado Avenue, in Yucca Valley, in reference to a suspicious circumstances call. A subject, later identified as Jeremiah James Polston, was reported to be in the parking lot of the apartment complex, tampering with vehicle engine compartments and the interior of a vehicle. When deputies arrived, Polston ran from a black Yukon toward the apartment complex. The vehicle Polston ran from was identified as the vehicle involved in a vehicle pursuit during a prior incident.
Deputies conducted an area check and located Polston hiding behind a fence of a residence. During the investigation, Polston was positively identified as the subject involved during the vehicle pursuit. Polston was detained and was in possession of brass knuckles. Polston was arrested for CVC 2800.2-Felony Evading and PC 21810(a)- Possession of Brass Knuckles. Polston was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
