CAD CALLS: 893
1. Shooting into a Vehicle (Delayed) Unknown location, City of Stockton
On the morning of 07/10/25, the female victim attended a party at an unknown location in South Stockton. During the party, gunshots were heard. The victim returned home, and when she left for work, she found bullet strikes on her car. There is no suspect information and no injuries.
2. Attempted Homicide Arrest (1419) San Joaquin Street and Washington Street, Civic District
The male victim, 56, a probation officer, attempted to take the suspect into custody after he entered the San Joaquin County Probation Department, acting suspicious and carrying a gas can. Probation officers responded, and the suspect fled. As the staff attempted to take the suspect into custody, the suspect ignited the gasoline, causing burns on the probation officer. The staff helped the victim extinguish the fire and took the suspect into custody with minimal force. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an area hospital. ARRESTED: Adam Lopez, 39, for attempted homicide and Arson.
3. Weapons Arrest (1700) 9500 Block of Kelley Drive, Bear Creek District
During a search of a residence near the listed location, officers seized two firearms, and the suspects were taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Jaylin Rankins, 18, and a male juvenile for weapon charges, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon.
4. Robbery (1847) 100 Block of North Wilson Way, Civic District
The male victim, 47, was working at a business in the listed area when the suspect entered and took several items without paying. The victim attempted to retrieve the items, and the suspect assaulted him. The suspect fled with the property. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
5. Attempted Robbery (0340) 100 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 34, was working at a business in the listed area when the suspect entered and attempted to take several items. When the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect walked to the cash register area. The victim pepper-sprayed the suspect, and he walked out of the business. As the victim followed the suspect, the suspect brandished a firearm and then fled in a vehicle. SUSPECT: White male adult.
