Special Weather Statement until 10:45PM

At 958 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Osceola to 11 miles west of Stockton to near Mindenmines. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pittsburg, Bolivar, Pomme de Terre Lake, Stockton Lake, Prairie State Park, Pomme De Terre State Park, Stockton State Park, Nevada, Fort Scott, Lamar, El Dorado Springs, Frontenac, Girard, Stockton, Arma, Greenfield, Humansville, Lockwood, Jasper, and Golden City.
