INCIDENT: Missing Person/Death Investigation
LOCATION: 14000 block of Valley Mesa, Havasu Lake, CA
DECEDENT(S): Confidential, 37-year-old male of Havasu Lake, CA
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 11, 2025, the victim's family reported the 37-year-old male as a missing person. The male left his residence the evening prior to swim at an unknown location. The following morning he had not returned home. San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies conducted an extensive search of the Lake Havasu shore line along the community of Havasu Lake but did not locate him.
On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at approximately 10:17 a.m., a deceased male was located in the lake, near Havasu Lake. Colorado River Station Marine Enforcement deputies responded and recovered the deceased, who was confirmed to be the missing male. Determination of the cause of death is pending autopsy.
