⚠️ EMERGENCY WARNING NOTICE – IMMEDIATE EVACUATION ⚠️

City of Sonora – July 13, 2025

Due to rapidly rising water levels within the last hour, the City of Sonora is issuing an urgent evacuation notice for residents living in the Martin and Del Rio area. We are asking all individuals in this area to evacuate move to higher ground within the city.

Additionally, we are asking all residents of the RV Trailer Park on Cornell Street to evacuate as a precaution.

This action is being taken in the interest of public safety. Please take only essential belongings and leave the area as quickly and safely as possible.

In the event of an emergency, dial 911.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as conditions change. Your safety is our top priority.
