Residents and Motorists, please be aware that delays are expected for the next few weeks as you travel the area of Grand Avenue / Maple Avenue and the entrance ramp of Route 46 westbound. NJDOT has set up a stop sign at the top of the ramp and reduced Route 46 westbound by one lane to three lanes of travel due to highway construction. These modifications may cause additional delays as vehicles exit Route 46 eastbound and approach Maple Avenue and Grand Avenue. Please make an effort to avoid the areas, especially during peak times, and plan alternate routes, which may include Broad Avenue or Hendricks Causeway. The Borough has received limited information on the project or the duration, but will try to put updated information out as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience this modification will cause.
