Ongoing Severe Weather Damage Reporting Process 
Heavy rain may have caused some damage at your residence this morning. City Sonora Emergency Management and Sutton County Emergency Management are prepared to assist you with reporting your damage to the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM).
Citizens can report damages through TDEM’s ISTAT dashboard. This tool allows us to immediately access to assess the scale of severity of disaster, view specific property damage information, photos and GIS data.
The attached form will guide you with collecting information that will be entered into ISTAT. Please use July 2nd - Ongoing Severe Weather to document your damage.

Please call City Hall if you need to dispose of tree limbs. City Hall will plan to have somebody open our tree limb disposal area. This area is for tree limbs only.
For tree limb disposal area access during this weekend, Sonora citizens can call the Sheriff’s Office at (325) 387-2288 or the Sonora Police Department at (325 387-3888). City “On Call” employees will be dispatched to open tree limb disposal area.
City officials are currently working flood related debris removal plan. We will keep you informed as soon as this plan is devloped,
