Flood Advisory until 09:00AM 
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Kinney, Maverick and Val Verde.
* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 550 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Del Rio, Brackettville, Spofford, Quemado, Anacacho, Alamo Village, Standart, Darling, Amanda, Paloma, Normandy, Laughlin AFB, Radar Base, Val Verde Park, Cienegas Terrace, Fort Clark Springs, Laughlin AFB Aux Field, Turkey Mountain, Escondido Estates and Kickapoo Cavern State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
