July 11, 2025:

  • Officer Marcum and Officer Smith were dispatched to North West Avenue and West Ganson Street for a traffic crash. A 31-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and an outstanding felony warrant.
  • Officer Elston responded to the 200 block of North East Avenue for a warrant arrest. A 38-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
  • Officer Tripp made contact with a subject near East Wesley Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. A 38-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
  • Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of North Waterloo Avenue. A 41-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
July 12, 2025:
  • Officer Goings responded to the 1000 block of South Wisner Street for a personal welfare check.
  • Officer Bean was dispatched to the 1600 block of East Michigan Avenue for a traffic crash. A 73-year-old male was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
  • Officers responded to the 600 block of Fifth Street for a domestic dispute.
  • Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at Ridgeway Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 51-year-old male driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license; resisting and obstructing; and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near Second Street and West Biddle Street. The 45-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated – 3rd offense.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Pigeon Street for a shooting. A 38-year-old female was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing.
July 13, 2025: 
  • Officer Elston responded to the 1300 block of South Jackson Street for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
  • Officer Smith was dispatched to Ganson Street and Orange Street for a malicious destruction of property report.
  • Officer Smith responded to the 800 block of Lincoln Street for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
  • Officers were dispatched to Warwick Court for a personal welfare check. Charges will be sought on a 31-year-old male for child abuse.
