Weather Alert - Heavy Rain / Street Flooding
WEATHER ALERT
* Torrential Downpours Likely Later Today *
Threat Time: Monday 3:00 PM - Tuesday 12:00 AM
A couple of pop up showers and storms will be possible over the next few hours, with still some solid dry time around before more scattered downpours and storms develop in the late afternoon. Humid conditions will allow for any storms to be accompanied by torrential downpours which can quickly overwhelm poor drainage systems, leading to areas of roadway ponding. Repeated slow moving downpours can drop 2-3"+ of rain in spots, allowing for some streams / creek to exceed their banks and perhaps locally significant issues. Downpours peak through around sunset, with activity gradually decreasing and tapering through the late evening.
