Flood Warning until 01:00AM Tuesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is still occurring.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Essex, Passaic and Union and southeast New York, including the following county, Richmond (Staten Island).

* WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 948 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but only little additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Elizabeth, Plainfield, Linden, Orange, Summit, Millburn, Caldwell, Clark, Fairfield, Union, East Orange, Irvington, West Orange, Montclair, Westfield, Livingston, Rahway, Maplewood and Scotch Plains. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
