The National Weather Service has issued the following:
What: Flood Advisory
Where: The Bronx
When: Until 2:00 PM on 7/15
Hazards: Runoff from yesterday's heavy rains has caused the Bronx River to rise to a moderate flood stage of around 3.7 feet early this morning. The runoff will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
Preparedness Actions:
- Do not drive your vehicle or walk into areas where water covers the roadway as the water depth may be too great to allow you to cross safely.
