During the summer months, the Township has a vast increase in pedestrian and bicycle traffic on our roadways.  We all need to do our part to keep the citizens of our communities safe.  Please follow these simple safety tips for traveling throughout our township:
   -Use sidewalks when they are available
   -Always use a crosswalk 
   -Stay close to the curb if walking in the street
   -Avoid distractions, such as cell phones
   -Ride bikes with the flow of traffic
   -Wear helmets
   -When traveling at night, wear bright clothing and use bike lights
OTPD urges everyone in our community to work together to have a safe summer and follow the rules of the road.
