...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas... Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding nine miles southwest of Uvalde closes the Farm to Market 481 bridge floor. Livestock in the flood plain should be moved to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 0.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 12.0 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet on 07/02/2002. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
