Wilmington Police arrest juvenile in connection with assault involving fireworks: 
Wilmington Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old in connection with an assault involving fireworks.
On July 12 at approximately 8 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of Madison Street in reference to an assault that had occurred. Police located a 27-year-old female victim, and learned that a suspect had discharged fireworks in her direction, resulting in injury. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Through the course of their investigation, police identified a 17-year-old male as a suspect, and he was located and taken into custody the following day.
The 17-year-old male has been charged with the following offenses:
- Assault (Second Degree)
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Sale or Possession of Fireworks
