UPDATE: Market St. Transportation Improvements - Streetscape Project 
**UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE: SOUTH MAIN STREET IS ALSO CLOSED AT MARKET STREET. NO OUTLET.**
On Wednesday, July 16th, at approximately 7:00 am, the City’s contractor Upstate Companies will be milling the intersections along Market Street at James Georgeson Avenue, Broad Street and Chestnut Street Extension. This work will occur between the
hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. Some sidewalks will be closed at times and there will be no on street parking in the immediate work areas. Expect delays.
On Thursday, July 17th, at approximately 7:00 am, the City’s contractor Upstate Companies will be paving the intersections along Market Street at James Georgeson Avenue, Broad Street and Chestnut Street Extension. This work will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. Some sidewalks will be closed at times and there will be no on street parking in the immediate work areas. Expect delays.
Please avoid this area if at all possible. Flaggers, temporary signage and barricades will be in place. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all traffic control devices.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
