1. Armed Robbery (1300) California Street / Park Street, Civic District
The male victim, 18, was walking in the area when the six suspects approached and assaulted him. One suspect brandished a firearm, and another brandished a knife. The suspects stole the victim’s property before fleeing. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: two light-complected males and four Black males.
2. Robbery (1930) 2800 Block of Yellowstone Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 40, was at an area park when the suspects assaulted the victim and stole his property and his vehicle. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: Four Hispanic males.
3. Weapons Arrest (1930) El Dorado Street / Swain Road, Lakeview District
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area and observed a firearm. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a second firearm. The occupants were arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Emmanuel Lopez, 31, Marcos Schumann, 28, and Lourdes Contreras, 33, for weapons charges.
4. Weapons Arrest (2330) 1100 Block of El Monte Street, Lakeview District
Officers were conducting an investigation in the area when they observed two firearms visible through the windows of a vehicle. The suspects were arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Steven Weaver, 20, and Link Rhodes, 20, for weapons charges.
