* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey... Southeastern Somerset County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 1045 PM EDT.

* At 646 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... New Brunswick, Somerset, East Brunswick, South Brunswick, North Brunswick, Middlesex, Bound Brook, Manville, Rocky Hill, Millstone, Kendall Park and North Brunswick Township.
