In response to a statewide rise in serious motor vehicle crashes, the South Brunswick Police Department has begun a series of enforcement details designed to keep our highways safe. We will be focusing on intersections, distracted driving, and speed, but will also be enforcing other violations observed.
 
To be sure that other roadways in our township also receive attention, we will also be continuing our traffic enforcement details as scheduled.
 
Traffic Enforcement Details from July 18^th to August 1^st:  
 
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details over the next two weeks:

West Side:
July 19^th to July 25^th: Promenade Boulevard: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Failure to Stop for Pedestrians within Crosswalks
 
July 26^th to August 1^st: Sand Hills Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
 
East Side:
July 19^th to July 25^th: Route 535/Route 32: Distracted Driving, Improper Turning Movements, and Traffic Signal Violations

July 26^th to August 1^st: Georges Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
