INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 7th Street / C Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Robert BaldwinGray, 30-year-old Male, Victorville Transient
VICTIM(S): 31-year-old male, Victorville Transient
SUMMARY: On July 16, 2025, at approximately 9:09 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police station were requested to respond to an assault in the area of 7th and C Streets in Victorville. Upon arriving, deputies found the 31-year-old male victim with trauma to his head. He was transported to a local hospital and subsequently flown to a nearby trauma center for further care.
Through investigation, it was discovered the victim was struck with a brick and punched and kicked by the suspect. The suspect was identified as Robert BaldwinGray. BaldwinGray was located at Eva Dell Park and taken into custody. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder and violation of post release community supervision. He is being held in lieu of $1,000,000.00 bail.
