Heat Advisory in Effect – Cooling Centers & Safety Updates 
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Prince George’s County through 8 PM today, with a heat index expected to reach 105°F. The Department of Parks and Recreation, M-NCPPC, urges all residents and visitors to take precautions to stay safe during this extreme heat.

All artificial and synthetic athletic fields are closed today due to excessive heat.
What’s Open
- Community centers and pools remain open
- Designated cooling centers across the County are available during regular hours
