Weekend Lane Reductions Expected Along Interstate 684 in Town of North Castle
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Westchester County motorists that Interstate 684 will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Exit 2 (State Route 120) and Exit 3 (State Route 22) in the Town of North Castle, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday nights, through Monday mornings at 7 a.m., to facilitate bridge construction. Work will take place on the following weekends, weather permitting:
• Friday, July 11, through Monday July 14
• Friday, July 18, through Monday, July 21
• Friday, August 8, through Monday, August 11
• Friday, August 15, through Monday, August 18
The Interstate 684 southbound on ramp from northbound Route 22 will be closed each Friday evening for the above weekends for a period of 4 to 5 hours to allow for set up of the lane restrictions on the Interstate. Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detours.
