INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Summit Valley Road and Las Flores Street, Hesperia
DECEDENT: Lisa Deeds, 30-year-old Resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at about 8:29 p.m., Hesperia deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle traffic collision on Summit Valley Road and Las Flores Street. Deputies arrived and found Lisa Deeds unresponsive inside her vehicle. Deeds was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was found outside of his Cadillac Escalade SUV, awake and responsive, and was transported to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed Deeds was travelling south on Summit Valley Road in an Acura TSX sedan, near Las Flores Street, while the driver of the SUV travelled north on Summit Valley Road. For unknown reasons, Deeds left her lane and travelled on the opposite side of the road where the two vehicles collided head-on. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to this collision and the investigation is ongoing.
