City of Somersworth Water Customers
on Main Street from Nadeau Street to Wildflower Circle
Water Division staff and GVC Construction will be turning off the water in your area on Monday July 21, 2025 from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. This is a water main shut-down for a gate valve installation related to the water main replacement project. The shut-down will affect homes on Main Street from Nadeau Street up to and including Wildflower Circle. During this time, you will experience little or no water pressure.
Once water is turned back on, you may experience air or some water discoloration. This discoloration is from naturally occurring minerals that have precipitated in the water lines. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear your water. Contact the Department of Public Works at (603) 692-4266, or call the Water Treatment Plant staff at (603) 692-2268 with any questions.
