Age-Friendly Leonia presents a FREE Educational Program as part of an AARP Community Challenge Grant. The program will aid older residents and their loved ones in assessing their homes for aging in place.   A free home assessment will be conducted for 10 Leonia residents.

Linda Chinman Pollock of North Jersey Home Maintenance Group will discuss simple modifications that can help you avoid a fall. She’ll also address how smart technology can assist you in keeping safer in the home. 

Topics include: 
Entryway, stair and bathroom safety
Lighting and mobility improvements
