Officers observed a suspected narcotic transaction and attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Diego Vargas, 20, for resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1400) El Pinal Drive and West Lane, Civic District
The male victim, 56, was in the listed area when the suspect approached, assaulted him, and struck him with a bat. Officers responded, located the suspect, and took her into custody without incident. Officers searched her vehicle and found a firearm and ammunition. ARRESTED: Tessa Dunlap, 50, for assault with a deadly .weapon, domestic violence, and weapons charges.
