On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at approximately 3:48 PM, officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and a motorcycle at the intersection of Berlin Cross Keys Road and Sicklerville Road, in the Sicklerville section of Gloucester Township. Upon arrival, officers discovered both vehicles had sustained significant damage, and the motorcyclist had suffered serious injuries.
A preliminary investigation conducted by the Gloucester Township Police Department's Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT) revealed that the motorcycle was traveling on Sicklerville Road toward Winslow Township when it collided with the SUV in the intersection at Berlin Cross Keys Road. The impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from the motorcycle. The driver of the SUV was safely removed from the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. Despite the efforts of officers and medical personnel, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection of Sicklerville Road and Berlin Cross Keys Road was temporarily closed for several hours while investigators conducted a comprehensive on-scene investigation. The investigation remains active and ongoing. At this time, no criminal charges have been filed. The identity of the drivers are being withheld pending further investigation and notification of next of kin.
