Gloucester Township Police Media Release- Police Respond to a Shooting in Residence That Left One Injured
On 07/21/2025 at approximately 05:33 hours, Gloucester Township Police Communications received a single report of a gun shot victim at a residence located along the unit block of Brookshire Road in the Sicklerville section of Gloucester Township.
Initial responding officers located a 34-year-old male inside the residence with a gun shot wound to the right leg and blunt force trauma to the head. Officers applied a tourniquet and rendered aid until BLS (Basic Life Support) arrived. The victim was transported to the Trauma Center at Cooper University Hospital by Inspria BLS and Virtua MICU Paramedics. The victim is reported to be in stable condition.
Officers detained a person of interest at the scene, and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation. There is no known threat to the community at this time.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit.
