Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges.

On July 18, at approximately 2:39 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division conducted a vehicle stop in the area of West 4^th Street and Delamore Place. Police made contact a passenger in the vehicle – 19-year-old Malikye Boyer – who was taken into custody without incident. Police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun that had previously been reported stolen, a loaded .380 caliber handgun, and 185 grams of marijuana.

Boyer has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
• Receiving a Stolen Firearm
