* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Pine, Cook, Lake, Carlton, St. Louis, Itasca, Aitkin and Cass Counties and Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the Grand Portage Reservation, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bad River Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band, the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, East Lake and, Big Sandy Lake areas and the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek, Nett Lake and, Lake Vermilion areas. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Voyageurs National Park and Madeline Island. The entire Boundary Waters is also included.
* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are forecast Tuesday late afternoon to Thursday morning. This heavy rainfall may fall on top of already saturated soils from other recent heavy rainfall and lead to excessive runoff.
