Elderly Male Found Deceased in Rancho Cucamonga; Investigators Say No Foul Play Suspected

LOCATION: Wilson Ave / Malachite Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

VICTIM(S): Marshall Gingerella, Age 80, Male Resident of Rancho Cucamonga 


SUMMARY: On July 19, 2025, at approximately 10:51 AM, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff's Station responded to a report of an individual found on an equestrian trail near Wilson Avenue and Malachite Avenue. The reporting party was a landscaper working in the area when they saw the subject. 

Deputies responded and located a male, identified as Marshall Gingerella, lying facedown on an equastrian trail behind several homes. Gingerella showed no signs of life and appeared to have been at the location for days. Gingerella was reported missing on July 17, 2025. Investigators did not find anything suspicious surrounding Gingerella's death, and there are no outstanding suspects or threats to the community.
