The Village of Pelham Manor is delighted to announce substantial enhancements to our refuse collection schedule, resulting in greater services for residents, as well as environmental benefits. On July 21, 2025, the Board of Trustees voted to amend the refuse collection regulations and schedule.

Weekly curbside paper recyclables collection on Wednesday
Weekly curbside comingled collection on Thursday or Friday (second regular collection day)
These permanent changes are cost effective, too. More frequent recycling encourages good recycling habits. Notably, under Westchester County’s Material Recovery program, municipalities can drop off recycled materials for free, avoiding the tipping fee for garbage!
