* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Los Alamos County in north central New Mexico... Southeastern Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico... Northwestern Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 400 PM MDT.

* At 100 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, particularly in Santa Clara Canyon. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Northern Los Alamos, Santa Clara Pueblo and San Ildefonso Pueblo.
