Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will be closed during the below-designated hours due to the City of Newark’s Annual Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District Festival:
 
Beginning from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Wednesday, July 23, 2025, to Friday, July 25, 2025
 
- North side of Lincoln Park only
 
Beginning from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. – Saturday, July 26, 2025 to Sunday, July 27, 2025
 
- Lincoln Park South from Clinton Avenue to Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard
- Halsey Street between Beecher Street and Lincoln Park North
- Pennsylvania Avenue between South Street and Lincoln Park South
- Lincoln Park North from Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard to Clinton Avenue (including left turn lane)
 
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
 
Director Miranda thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding criminal activities to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).  All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
