Lomita Station Arrests Two Commercial Burglary Suspects #LASD
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, Lomita units responded to the above location regarding a suspicious person call. Upon arrival, deputies observed two female adults walking out of the store carrying two shoe boxes. Deputies were told by store security the two females had just stolen multiple pairs of shoes. Deputies detained both females pending a theft investigation.
Upon review of the store’s surveillance footage, deputies learned the two females selected multiple shoe boxes and placed them on a bench near the exit. One of the suspects asked a store employee for a different shoe size as a distraction. When the employee turned around, the two females quickly exited the store. Both females were positively identified by store employees and arrested for theft. Both suspects were additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and various drug related charges.
Both suspects have a lengthy criminal history of theft related charges. Due to their extensive theft histories, detectives are investigating potential links to other WSS thefts in the area. Anyone with information is urged to contact Lomita Sheriff’s Station 310-539-1661.
