Memo: Upcoming Construction Work

Dear Neighbors,
I am writing to inform you about an upcoming referendum construction project at Valley View Middle School. The project is scheduled to begin on July 23, 2025. Due to school starting in approximately one month, we had to proceed quickly to ensure no impact for the opening of school. Valley View will be an active construction site. All outdoor school grounds will be closed during this period. For your safety, please be cautious around the construction site, and ensure children and pets are kept away for their safety.
Project Details:
● Scope of Work: Outdoor Learning Commons
● Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Weekends 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

What to Expect:
● Project Manager: Construction Manager onsite daily.
● Noise: There will be some noise from machinery and tools, primarily between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
● Deliveries: Material will be brought to the site throughout the job. This includes dumpsters, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, bricks, and miscellaneous construction materials.
● Dust and Debris: Measures will be taken to control dust and debris. Dumpsters will be placed around the property, and cleanup will be performed daily.
● Parking: Construction vehicles will be kept on school property. No parking is permitted on school property during construction, and Legacy Management and the BOE will not be liable for any damages if the property is accessed.
● Safety: This is an active construction site. All school grounds will be closed during construction at all times. Please ensure children and pets are kept away for their safety.
● Utilities: No utilities will be affected by ongoing construction work.
