Activity for July 22, 2025: Officers responded to 54 calls for service, made 4 arrests, and 25 traffic stops.
Activity for July 22, 2025:
- Officer Allison located the suspect from the breaking and entering that occurred on July 21st in the 100 block of West Michigan Avenue. The 56-year-old male suspect was arrested for breaking and entering; felonious assault; and several conditional bond violations.
- Officer Hogan responded to the 500 block of Burr Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to an overdose in the 300 block of Bates Street. A 30-year-old male was transported to the hospital, and then arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Reynaga and Officer Stallworth attended the career fair downtown.
- Firefighters responded to the 500 block of North Mechanic Street for a structure fire. The fire was contained and put out. Officers located a subject in the area who admitted to setting the fire. A 15-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for arson.
- Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop near East Ganson Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 44-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
