Butler Water Customer:

Due to unusually high demand, customers are asked to limit unnecessary water usage such as lawn watering, car washing and other non-essential activities.

There is no issue with water quality; the water remains safe to use and consume and continues to meet all state and federal drinking water standards.  This is a temporary request to conserve water due to unusually high demand combined with weather and other natural conditions impacting the reservoir.

An additional Nixle will be sent once the voluntary conservation notice has been lifted.
