INCIDENT: P.C. 273.5(A) - Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: 7000 block of Papago Trail, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Carrie Lassabe-Crow, 51 Years Old, Resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff's Station/Needles Police Department responded to a local hospital reference an assault that had just occurred in the 7000 block of Papago Trail in Big River.
During the investigation, it was determined the suspect, Carrie Lassabe-Crow, stabbed the victim at the residence during an argument. The victim was able to drive himself to a local hospital for treatment and medical staff called for assistance.
Carrie Lassabe-Crow was contacted a short time later at her residence, and was taken into custody. Lassabe-Crow was positively identified as the suspect and was later transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Lassabe-Crow remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
