On July 23, 2025, the Homicide Unit of the Amarillo Police Department (APD), in conjunction with the Potter County District Attorney's Office, presented a significant case to the Potter County Grand Jury. After careful consideration of the evidence, the Grand Jury rendered a decision of "no bill" regarding Mr. John Tiernan. This verdict indicates that no formal charges will be filed against him in connection with the case presented.
