Media Release From The Camden County Prosecutor's Office of New Jersey: Suspect Arrested for Shootings in Camden and Gloucester Township, New Jersey

A Camden man has been arrested and charged in reference to separate non-fatal shootings that occurred hours apart in Camden and Gloucester Township, New Jersey, reported Camden County Prosecutor's Office of New Jersey Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, Camden County Police Department Chief Gabriel Rodriguez, and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at approximately 8:44 p.m., the Camden County Police Department was notified that a gunshot victim had arrived at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The victim – a 48-year-old man from Camden – sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was reported to be in stable condition. Detectives determined the shooting occurred on the 1200 block of Lansdown Avenue in Camden.

On Monday, July 21, 2025, at approximately 5:33 a.m., the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a residence on the unit block of Brookshire Road in Gloucester Township for a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old male from Gloucester Township inside the residence with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

Officers detained a suspect – 29-year-old Kenneth W. Reddick of Camden – in the area of the scene of the Gloucester Township shooting. During the investigation, detectives determined Reddick to be the individual responsible for both shootings.

Reddick was charged with two counts each of first-degree Attempted Murder, second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and fourth-degree Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons. He was also charged with one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child due to a one-year-old child being present during the Gloucester Township shooting. Reddick was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility, pending a detention hearing.
